The crowd consists of men, women and children gathered under the arcade in front of the adobe house. Several moms are nursing their newborns while several children run around playing. Lines of people are making their way into the house. Wooden posts support the roof of the arcade (or porch). Extending beyond the arcade is a pergola-like structure constructed of tree branches. Vines cover the pergola-like structure providing shade for the people standing below it.
